Should your website slow for summer?

It seems only appropriate that I write a blog post about slowing for summer. You haven’t seen anything I have written for a few weeks. Guess why? Well, I slowed for summer.

I struggle every year with whether (or how) I should slow writing production down for the summer. Do I write and schedule a blog post before I go on vacation or can I skip a post or two?

My answer is going to surprise you I think. It is that the summer might just be a good time to slow down on writing blog posts (as long as you aren’t slowing beyond once a month) but don’t use it as an excuse to slow on writing altogether.

The summer, with its sometimes slower pace is a great time to look at pages that you haven’t visited in a while. If you are breaking from your blog, take a look at your About page, or your services page. Read a few pages that you haven’t looked at in a while. I bet you will be surprised at what you read and want to start rewriting.
