The logo, branded materials, and website Spring Insight created for our organization are exactly what we were hoping for as a new nonprofit organization establishing our base and getting the word out about who we are. They created a visual identity that thoughtfully combines our focus on aerospace with a strong acknowledgement to our Maryland-centric core mission, a balance that resonated with our team. In addition to our excitement about how the website looks, we are also very happy with the functionality of the backend and how usable it is for us to manage our own content without being concerned about breaking anything in the process. We continue to use their services for on-going maintenance and it's a perfect combination for our organization. We’re extremely happy with the final product!

Background
When we began working with the Maryland Aerospace Alliance (MAA) the organization was little more than an idea. Governor Wes Moore had just signed a bill creating funding for the initiative. With a grand vision to strengthen collaboration and retain aerospace jobs in Maryland, MAA had a name, but little else.
The Spring Insight Project
Spring Insight's first step was to give the Maryland Aerospace Alliance a visual identity that could stand proudly alongside the organizations it sought to partner with. The new logo drew inspiration from the instantly recognizable NASA insignia while remaining completely distinct, combining a circular form and bold typography with Maryland’s state flag colors to anchor it in place and purpose.
With the brand established, we created initial collateral and a lightweight “starter website” to give MAA a professional presence while the more comprehensive site was in development. This interim site allowed the organization to begin engaging stakeholders and building awareness right away.
When the time came to launch the full website, we built a platform with AMS functionality to support membership and resource sharing. A central feature is an interactive map that tracks aerospace jobs across the state, ensuring MAA can demonstrate its impact and keep stakeholders informed. This tool not only visually tells the story, but also reinforces the organization’s role as the hub for Maryland’s aerospace industry.
