Background

Debra Levy is an organization that provides care management services for elderly and disabled individuals. Care managers include nurses and social workers who meet with clients and their families to assess needs and develop a personalized care plan. Debra Levy care managers oversee and monitor patients’ home care services, help them move to assisted living and monitor care once they are there.

The Spring Insight Project

When Debra Levy Eldercare Associates (DLEA) owner Susie Murphy hired Spring Insight to overhaul the Debra Levy website, it had been chugging along since 2002. While the existing website still did the job, it didn’t give the DLEA team much flexibility in promoting the organization’s new business lines. In addition, the complexities involved in of changing text on the old website meant that the work had to be done externally. It was important to Susie that while the content of the new website reflect the organization’s forward-thinking approach to eldercare, the look and feel of the site reflect the same soft, muted, non medical approach the original site exhibited.

Spring Insight’s approach to recreating and modernizing the DLEA site was to emulate the soft and approachable visual design of the original site while using modern tools and layouts. The new site has space for the DLEA team to promote all of their current business offerings (and even to grow in the future). In addition, the site is created using the WordPress CRM so the team can make updates as they need without having to call in for backup.
