Case Study: Pushbutton Emergency Help

A computer monitor displaying a website for "pushbutton emergency help," which provides personal emergency response systems (pers) designed to aid individuals at the push of a button.
“I am grateful to Erika for all her efforts in getting my new website up and running. Although I dragged my feet at times, Erika kept the project on point and on time. Her ideas and research were great and made my site come out the way we envisioned it.” – Nelson LeRoy

Background

Pushbutton Emergency Help provides “lifeline” contact to emergency services for elderly clients and those with mobility challenges through the use of wearable and other communication devices. Much of PBE’s business comes through referrals from colleagues working in related fields such as social work and home health care.  PBE owner Nelson LeRoy contacted Spring Insight at at time when he was looking for ways to generate more leads on his own.

The Spring Insight Project

Spring Insight worked with PBE to create a website that members of the elder community would find easy to use. We designed a simple navigation bar inviting potential clients to contact PBE by phone; we also included buttons that allow the user to increase or decrease the size of the text.

Spring Insight and PBE worked together to find the right voice for the site. Rather than an abstract tone describing services, we opted for a more intimate, second-person approach, i.e. “We are here to help you.”
