My business is too small.No matter how small your business is, your organization needs a digital footprint. There are great options for very small businesses, including turn key services that create industry-specific websites. If you want your business to get bigger, a website is a must.
People in my industry don’t really need websites.If your organization has a mission to expand and thrive in your industry (and in all likelihood it does) you need a website.
I can build one myself (or have a daughter, niece, friend, etc.)That is awesome! Having a friend or a relative that can help you with a website can be a great benefit to a small and growing business. There are a lot of reasons these arrangements don’t work (a person doesn’t have experience with professional websites, isn’t prioritizing your work, etc.) But, they often do. If your business is just starting out and can’t afford a professionally built website, this might be a great option for you.
