Objections: My Small Business Doesn’t Need One

Objections: My Small Business Doesn’t Need One!

This might surprise you. Not every prospective client we talk to immediately purchases a service. Shocking right? For that reason, we decided to dedicate a portion of our website to discuss some of the most common objections we hear from small businesses and address them.

“I don’t need your services.”

It’s surprising that so many years after small business websites became mainstream, we are still hearing organizations say that they simply don’t need websites. Here are our responses. For the other reasons we get for our marketing services, we have more responses. Whether you may think it’s too expensive or its too confusing, let us help you bring some insight into the process.

My business is too small.

No matter how small your business is, your organization needs a digital footprint. There are great options for very small businesses, including turn key services that create industry-specific websites. If you want your business to get bigger, a website is a must.

People in my industry don’t really need websites.

If your organization has a mission to expand and thrive in your industry (and in all likelihood it does) you need a website.

I can build one myself (or have a daughter, niece, friend, etc.)

That is awesome! Having a friend or a relative that can help you with a website can be a great benefit to a small and growing business. There are a lot of reasons these arrangements don’t work (a person doesn’t have experience with professional websites, isn’t prioritizing your work, etc.) But, they often do. If your business is just starting out and can’t afford a professionally built website, this might be a great option for you.

We are going to pull out our honesty card here. If the questions on this page resonated with you, Spring Insight is not likely the right fit for your organization. We are excited to watch you grow and hope you keep us in mind when you are ready for a professional, strategic, and compelling website.
